Norwich Research Park is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr Sally Ann Forsyth as Chief Executive Officer of Norwich Research Partners LLP.
Sally Ann has 25 years’ experience in the technology commercialisation and science park sector. As Director of Science Parks for international property group Goodman since 2005, Sally Ann has been responsible for the development of their Science Park portfolio.
As part of this role she has developed Harwell Science Park, recently awarded Enterprise Zone status and location of the new TSB Space Catapult and Colworth Science Park home to Unilever Research focussing on Food, Health and Wellness. Together these parks provide open innovation environments for over 6,000 researchers.
Sally Ann holds an MPhil in Plant Breeding and PhD in plant molecular biology both from the University of Cambridge. After her PhD she joined Unilever as a Management Trainee in agribusiness and subsequently became head of Technology Licensing for Unilever Bestfoods and Principal with Unilever Ventures focussing on technology spin outs. Sally Ann is a qualified Chartered Global Management Accountant and is a Board member of the UK Science Park Association.
