The Norwich Research Park Image Library is a tool for communicating the world-class research that we do. We know that images can be a powerful method to captivate an audience and that is why we want to invite everyone who works on the Park to contribute to our image library. If you have high-quality images that reflect your research into the global challenges of healthy ageing, food and energy security, sustainability and environmental change and have permission to upload them then we encourage you to take part in our new Engaging Images Competition.
By entering you'll be in with the chance of having your image(s) selected for an exhibition at this year's Norwich Science Festival. You'll also be invited to participate in an event in October to discuss your research stories with the public over drinks and nibbles. To enter our competition you must work on Norwich Research Park and contribute to our library, all you have to do is create an account on the website and the follow the simple instructions to upload your image(s) with a short and accessible legend. The deadline for entries is the 31st May, but we encourage you to continue uploading images after that!
We want to raise awareness of the research we do and hope to build a database of iconic images of our science that can attract more attention to our websites. The uploaded images should, therefore, be available for use by others within Norwich Research Park and elsewhere with appropriate credit. The maximum image size is 16Mb and images can be in JPEG and PNG format. We would like the image descriptions to be roughly 100 words in length and please make sure you don't upload any images you haven't generated yourself or don't have the right to upload.
