2017 marks 50 years since the John Innes Institute moved from Bayfordbury near Hertford to its new home, on Colney Lane in south Norwich. The institute will mark the anniversary at a number of events during the year. Read more.

Monsanto Company and 2Blades Foundation (2Blades) have formed a collaboration to discover novel sources of genetic resistance to devastating corn diseases. 2Blades will deliver these resistance genes in collaboration with The Sainsbury Laboratory, Norwich, the leading global institute for research on plant-pathogen interactions and long-term partner of 2Blades.
