Dr Nick Goodwin has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Anglia Innovation Partnership LLP. His job will be to lead Norwich Research Park’s soon-to-be launched strategy for the next 10 years. He takes up the reins of his new role on 19 June.
Nick is no stranger to Norwich Research Park having held numerous positions with institutes and organisations based there. He will work closely with the Partners of the Park, the resident and regional business community and funding bodies to grow the Park’s footprint and facilitate further growth.
Nick's background is in science, having completed a PhD in Applied Ecology and Evolution at UEA. His post-academic career began with a business development role with UEA that led to strategic programme management positions at Norwich Research Park. Recent accomplishments include the design and development of Centrum and the new Quadram Institute. Goodwin will continue his work supporting the John Innes Centre and The Sainsbury Laboratory in making the case for next generation research and innovation facilities.
