Pint of Science Norwich goes online to bring the stars behind the latest research to your screens at home

The Pint of Science festival brings scientists and their research to you! The festival has grown astronomically since its inception in 2013, and 2021 will see a mixture of events happening during the week of 17th May across 30 countries. Each night will provide a unique line up of talks, demonstrations and live experiments.

The UK’s Pint of Science Festival will take place online from Monday 17 May to Thursday 20 May 2021, with LIVE shows and a virtual sci-art exhibition, Creative Reactions. Each evening we will be streaming live to the Pint of Science UK YouTube channel (https://youtube.com/pintofscience) at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm (UK time) from over 35 locations across the country.

In Norwich, researchers from the University of East Anglia, Quadram Institute and Cefas will be speaking at three evening shows: 7-8pm, UK time on Monday 17th, Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th May 2021. In addition to the live shows on YouTube, Norwich scientists will be sharing their research on Twitter using videos, drawings, gifs and photos posted under the hashtag #Pint21Norwich. This will be another great chance to ask questions and gain an insight into the people behind the research.
